We've been contacted twice in the last hour to see if we're okay, what with the weather today. Yes, we're fine. Several periods of 5-10 minutes of downpour, but that's the worst it got.
Just stopped by to check on you after hearing that Harvard and Poplar Grove had tornadoes, as well as Kenosha. How weird for January! Glad you all are ok, and hope you're recovering from your bug.
Boy, I wonder what all happened out there? Driving around so far, I've seen no signs of trouble. Not even limbs down. A neighbor told us about Edwards Orchard and the damage there. But we didn't know anything bad was happening out there. And we sure couldn't watch the tv news about such things unless we hid it from one family-member. (And trying to be judicious with choice of words here on the blog too because of nosy eyes that read mom's blog.)
Swinging from one extreme to the other, either busy or vegging, orderly or cluttered, meals par excellence or insta-food, schoolwork all day or not at all. Good thing my husband is well-balanced.
Glad to hear that! Sad to see the Edwards Orchard so damaged though :(

ReplyDeleteI was prowling the web this am to see if your area had been hit. Glad you're ok!
ReplyDeleteWhew! Thank the Lord! I was horrified to turn on the TV and see the devastation in your county!
