Online Banking

We are in the process of changing banks. I spent three and a half hours on the computer tonight, setting up how to pay our bills online now that I can no longer do it from the old account. I'm sure I'm not done with this project.

All this online stuff is in the interest of making bill-paying faster and easier. Right? Right???

  1. That does seem a long time to set up. I think I got ours done in about 20 minutes... Weird.

  2. It wasn't just the bank. It was the electric company and the credit card and the phone bill and the mortgage too. And I actually try to read those legal contract agreement thingies. Argh! And I look at all sorts of FAQs for each one, trying to see if there will be any surprise charges or deadlines or something that I'd rather know before getting zinged.

  3. Not much fun, is it? The bank where our checking is just got downgraded (again) to 2 stars, and this is after they got bailout money! So it's back to the drawing board, I guess.....glad you found a new bank and got everything all set up.
