Philip's looking for a job. His temp job is done, and he's hunting agaaaain.
Paul has pretty much decided on attending Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato. Long drive. But a whole lot of huge positives about the school. We still want to see the financial aid package. But he seems pretty sold on the place.
Jane came from Indiana to visit for a couple days and cheer me up. Her company sure does cheer a body! It's great to have her here!
The potlucks at our new church are awesome. Real food. And enough that everybody gets to eat. Nifty!

I think Matt Meilner will be attending this year. (His dad, a pastor, replaced Aaron at St. Peter's.)They sent a few of their kids there and have been very pleased with the school. They live close by, in Minnesota. I have to run....so glad Jane is there. What a great friend!

ReplyDeleteSusan, even though we live out of state, with scholarships and grants Bethany is the cheapest option for our Rachel as well! (Unless she lives home ~gasp!~ and goes to a local private school next door to one of our churches)

My dh has long had Bethany-Mankato in mind as one to consider when our kids reach college age. We hope to take a little detour to visit the campus this summer while we're out that way for his various conference responsibilities.
