Hey, Dan, the last few weeks I've been thinking that a woodburning stove and an outhouse would really solve a lot of problems around here!
Someone at church floated the idea of donating a pellet-burning stove to the parsonage (I think this is a special kind of fireplace that puts out loads of heat). I have no idea where this thing might fit into the house. But what strikes me is that they really ought to donate the wood-burner to church. The parsonage propane bill is less than 1/3 of the church's.
Maybe we're not "normal Wisconsin people" here. I suspect that we're all really Illinois people who slipped across the line....
I wonder how a pellet stove compares to one of those corn burners that are supposed to sit outside the house? (if nothing else, since it is natural, if you run out, you could glean the area fields as a unit study on Ruth) :) Just kiddin'
Swinging from one extreme to the other, either busy or vegging, orderly or cluttered, meals par excellence or insta-food, schoolwork all day or not at all. Good thing my husband is well-balanced.
Yay!
ReplyDeleteFancy dancy propane stove. You don't have a woodburning outdoor stove like normal Wisconsin people? :)

Great news.
I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy! Now if the septic man comes tomorrow (and gets the job done soon) you won't know what to do. Pure luxury, um? (mom)
