DAILY Bread? Not Monthly? Or Yearly Bread?

Any person who does not know what insecurity is
does not know what faith is.

  1. Church services are every week. Why not every day? And why do I have to drive 20+ miles to get there? What if I don't own a car?

Questions that will never be answered. . . :(

  2. Jane, I assume you're talking about the heavenly bread -- daily or weekly or whatever.

When I read this quote, I thought it had a lot to say about temporal bread. "I want money in the bank." "I want to know that my country is safe from terrorists." "I want to know that my kid isn't going to be harmed on the playground." We want safety and security. WE want to be in control. But if there is no insecurity, there is no place for trusting the Lord to be the one to take care of our needs.

  3. Yepper. I wasn't referring to temporal things. . . until I got to the part about the car. :P
