Christmas Pictures

Rachel and Alia (early in the day)

Zoe borrows an FS hat

The fire is captivating!

Pirate Paul has a Polly Parrot on his shoulder.  Squawk!

Evidence that little girls were here!  Horses on parade, headed to dinner.

End of the day meltdown.  "But I don't WANT to go home!  I want to stay at Nanna's and Papa's!!!"

  3. "But I don't WANT to go home! I want to stay at Nanna's and Papa's!!!"

It must melt your grand mommy heart to hear those words at the end of the day. :-)

    Merry Christmas Susan!

  4. Welllll, Glenda ... When she says it because she loves us and she likes being here, yes. But more often it's because she wants to play with our toys (which are different from HER toys at home) *or* because she's simply being contrary and disobedient to her mommy. So as much as I'd like to say it melts my grandma-heart, it usually doesn't. Because it so often annoys my mommy-heart that she treats *my* baby in the sassy way she does.

I am NOT a grandma who spoils. At all. By any stretch of the imagination. But that does not in any way lessen the love!
