  4. Well, regardless of what kind of plans you folks are making, we folks know that April 25th is the perfect date. "Not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket."

We MUST quote that line from the movie every single April 25th! Yes, we must.

  5. April 25 is looking better all the time. We went to see the train station today and think it would do just fine. Not elegant, but very adequate. Karen will try to sign up early in morning and then see if the block of motels is still avaiable. (This should give Rachel and Katie and idea to the Jeopardy question.)

  6. Oh, Mom, you must not know the quote! There's a quote in a movie about April 25th. It's hilarious, and so whenever we hear about "April 25th," we always think of the line from the movie. The question (in a beauty pageant) is "What is your idea of a perfect date?" and the answer was not "a walk on the beach" or "dinner at a romantic restaurant" but "April 25th. It's not too hot. Not too cold. All you need is a light jacket."

So when you were talking about April 25th, we HAD to laugh. Because April 25th is "The Perfect Date." Now, if there's a wedding on April 25th, that's going to make it a perfect date for Karen and Robert in a totally different way. But whether that's the date chosen or not, we will continue to quote that line every year on April 25th.

Not too hot. Not too cold. All you need is a light jacket.
