Witnessing

There was a discussion recently about how people out there in the post-modern Real World (TM) respond to Christians. One of the pastors said something quite wise:

People will react more honestly to "Christianity displayed as important to you than promoted as important for them."

  1. Is it plagiarizing if I don't name the pastor I'm quoting? I don't want to steal his line, but neither do I want to slap his name on my blogpost if he doesn't want that. But I want to remember it here in my pensieve -- it explains something so clearly and succinctly that would take me many paragraphs to explain.

  2. It's clearly a quote, so I think you're fine. :) If you're worried about making sure you remember without putting his full name on, you could do something like "Pastor G.G." (To use Daddy as an example)

  3. I thought it was a beautifully put comment. Thanks for reminding me of it again.
