The Gospel reading for last night's Divine Service was from John 15. I don't know why I never noticed this until last night. Maybe it's because of going to vineyard country near St Catharines. Maybe it's because I've been trying to figure out what to do about pruning my grape vines.
Jesus is the vine.
Vines are held up by wood posts. Or trees. Hmmm.

Whew. I was afraid I was going to say this, and y'all would think, "DUH. Of course! How come she never recognized that before?" So I guess I'm not alone, Lauri.
ReplyDeleteAin't it cool when something that should've been so obvious (but wasn't) is suddenly there, and all you can do is go WOW?
It was an aha moment for me too! That's part of the reason I come back year after year to the CCA Symposia. Lots of AHA moments.
ReplyDeleteI get some great AHA! moments reading your blog, Mrs. G. It's a great place to come when I ought to be asleep, my mind feels dull, and I can have someone else AHA! for me. ;) Thanks for posting. Great observation. :)
