Who's Hiding in the Closet?

So a gay basketball player comes out of the closet and is lauded for it.  In the wake of the announcement, a sports analyst mentions that the Bible says homosexuality is a sin as is any sexual activity outside of marriage.   Oh my goodness -- the horrors of what he said!  The station apologizes.  The sports analyst is forced to apologize.

And then the news release about how the government is looking into enforcing anti-proselytizing regulations, thus forbidding soldiers from telling others about their faith, even to the point of being able to court-martial them.

  1. Yes, wow. I was wondering when Broussard would be forced to come out with some sort of response. I don't see what he said as an apology, though. He stood by his belief, even as he was forced to celebrate Collins' 'bravery.'" So ridiculous. Who's the brave one here? The one who "came out" to a media falling all over themselves to celebrate his announcement or the one who stood up for God's word?

  2. It's disheartening to see such examples of persecution of Christians in our country. But the Bible says to expect persecution. Doesn't make it any easier to take, does it? :(
