Today I was invited in for a job interview at the bank. It's not our local branch (close enough to walk or bike) but it's not too far away. Twenty hours a week -- two days 10-6:00 and Saturday mornings. The appointment is Thursday afternoon.
Whoa...we can talk tomorrow. I just started working 18 hours this week! Could be nice just gearing up for two longer days..and the shorter day. Hope all goes well!
Wow--that's a lot of hours, Susan. You must have such mixed feelings. May God give you peace of mind as you prepare to go to your interview. Personally, I like the idea of limiting my work hours to several days a week and leaving other days open, so I would see the schedule as a positive. But goodness, how scary this must be. I pray that if the job is offered you will have strong signals--maybe from really enjoying the interview and the people, or from really not!--of what path to take. God bless.
Swinging from one extreme to the other, either busy or vegging, orderly or cluttered, meals par excellence or insta-food, schoolwork all day or not at all. Good thing my husband is well-balanced.
