Alas. I believe that it is universal. Hence, the limited amount of mopping that occurs in this house. At least I know I'm not alone.
I was thinking the same thing, Catherine. The moral of the story here seems to be "do not mop" so that the floor will stay cleaner. ???
When I mop, I either spill something or break glass all over...So I sweep much more often than I mop.
It usually takes just a few minutes for the spill to happen here. I am usually the one who does it though. I suppose the mopper and the cook get the same pay.
No spills here although a mopped floor means that someone will track in mud within 10 minutes of drying :)
