When I water-bath the quarts in the pressure canner, the water has to be right smack dab at the top of the canner. So I did the shorter pints. <br /><br />I was annoyed by the cloudy jars. Looking at the picture, I was trying to remember what solved that. Now that you mention the vinegar, I think I've heard that before.
